Duties:
Palletize products using banding tools, pallet jack, overhead crane, etc.
Count and keep track with written lists quantities of completed assemblies on pallets
Safely operate shop equipment such as drill press, shear, hydraulic press, band saw, or punch to create steel parts for welded assemblies and structures
Prep weld areas for welders by grinding, beveling, etc.
Safely operate handheld power tools such as drills, grinders, metal skill saw, wood skill saw, or plate beveller
Move pallets in and out of buildings and around yard with a forklift
Light painting and sandblasting duties on finished products, equipment, buildings, etc.
Light carpentry work building crates or cutting wood dunnage
Yard cleanup, snow removal i.e. be willing and able to work outdoors all seasons
Minimum Requirements;
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs occasionally, 20 to 30 pounds frequently, walk, stoop, squat, sit and kneel
You should be in good physical condition and be able to work in a fast paced environment
Our shop is team based so you must be reliable, arrive on time, and be ready to work
Must be able to understand and apply basic math
Ability to read & understand a tape measure
Ability to multitask, follow basic instructions and work independently
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English

10-hours per day 5-days per week (7:00 am to 5:30 pm M to Fri with overtime rate
