Processor/Trimmer, this job includes the daily care and focused attention necessary to process and package clean, high-quality cannabis. A successful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, record keeping abilities, a quick working pace, and a willingness to continually learn more about the industry and its processes.
This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the High Vibes company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of the daily care from harvest to packaging; monitoring weights daily and helping maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the processing area and inside facility.
Assists in harvesting, processing and packaging.
Keep accurate records on each strain using company systems and protocols.
Record accurate weight throughout the processing and packaging procedures using company systems and protocols.
Maintain a clean, safe environment inside the processing department.
Maintains quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product.
Ensures accurate inventory reports.
Basic knowledge of cannabis.
Qualifications:
Holds basic knowledge of cannabis.
Work history showing progressive responsibility and willingness to accept additional projects or challenges.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize.
Ability to focus and pay attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements; Extended time sitting, walking, bending, standing and reaching. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling to maneuver equipment/supplies up to 40-pounds occasionally, Less weight more regularly.
Clarity of vision at every distance with good depth perception for performing assigned tasks, occasionally on ladders and/or step-ups.
This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
Job Requirements:
Must be 21+ years of age per accordance with Alaska State Law.
Must have an active Alaska Marijuana Handlers Permit.
Must be able to maintain compliance with AMCO standards.
Ability to trim large quantities of product in an 8hour shift, I.E. 454g trimmed product at end of day.
Ability to occasionally work flexible hours including, but not limited to, additional time on weekends, holidays, evenings, before or after normal shift hours (9AM-5PM M-F). Travel may be required to assist other personnel on occasion.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Pay:
$17.00-$20.00/Hour or D.O.E - Raises will be evaluated by an employee's ability to perform at and above company standards.
