Compensation at $13 an hour. Tips are pooled and divided by shift, usually resulting in another $3-4 an hour.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift
- Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Supervise and train staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
- Collaborate with other shift leaders and management to improve processes and procedures
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food production
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Culinary background or experience in restaurant management is preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of hotel or banquet food service is a plus
- Ability to cook or assist in food preparation when needed
