Alaska Wildlife Guide is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager. We are looking for someone who has lived in Alaska for at least a few years and has basic management experience. Qualifications:
At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
At least 2 years living in Alaska
Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in the tourism sector would be nice, but is not necessary for a candidate willing to learn
A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Candidates must be over 21, and over 25 is preferred
Website design and business related social media experience is not required, but is a huge plus
Duties:
Assisting the General Manager in coordinating all aspects of tour operations
Answering inquiries via phone, email, and sometimes in person
Occasionally drive tour vans for gas, service, etc
Maintaining relations with affiliated business and travel agents
Other light office duties
