This is a hands-on design position in the Facilities Market Sector and will include design projects for not only facilities but also site and road improvements. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects.Job Responsibilities:Work within the Autodesk Civil 3D environment to develop site drawings and models for civil site improvements, roadways, and utility infrastructure.Prepare construction plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates.Perform site visits and inspections at various locations across the state of Alaska.Prepare design calculations, written reports, and project presentations.Work on multiple projects simultaneously, proactively collaborating with team members and clients to resolve technical challenges.Track work progress within established scopes and schedules and alert project managers of any issues that may affect them.Prepare clear and concise written communications and participate in client and team meetings.Conduct research and assist in writing proposals to assist in bringing in new work.Support other market sectors on design projects as workload dictates.
