Responsibilities:
-Plan and use a variety of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies
-Provide basic care and caregiving activities, including changing, toileting, feeding, nap time, and playground supervision
-Routinely evaluate children's development using the Ages and Stages Developmental Assessment
-Remain in constant communication with parents
-Help students learn self-discipline through appropriate correcting, counseling and role modeling
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position supervises the Teaching Aides and is responsible for supporting their professional growth, development and performance management.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must be 21 years of age or older
-Able to life or move up to 50lbs
-Must past a State of AK Background Check
-Meet all requirements specified by licensing regulations
