Customer Care Representative

The primary responsibilities of this position are to handle incoming calls and walk-in customers with billing inquiries, complaints and rate issues, and to process payments. Other responsibilities include maintaining customer accounts, processing property changeovers, scheduling and coordinating maintenance appointments, reconciling and adjusting accounts, and other activities as assigned.

Utility Services of Alaska is looking for an individual with the following qualifications:

Minimum qualification:

-High School Diploma and three years of customer service experience.

Preferred qualifications:

-An Associates Degree or two years of progressively advanced full time college coursework

-Three or more years of customer service experience in a public or private utility environment.

-Familiarity with base radio unit equipment.

-Familiarity of wastewater and plumbing terms and general functions

Applicant must be able to work independently, be dependable, flexible, have a positive attitude and able to work well in a fast paced, high-energy environment. Pay DOE/excellent benefit package includes a profit-sharing plan, 401(k), health insurance, vacation and holidays.
