Intrinsic Landscapes LLC is seeking to add a Welder + Fabricator to our Landscape Construction Crew. We specialize in custom site amenities and installations which often incorporate steel elements.
This position is perfect for those with welding experience as well as other construction, carpentry, and sitework / landscaping skills. We construct steel plate retaining walls, plasma cut privacy screens, edging, trellises, planters, and sculptural elements. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the cutting, fitting, assembly, welding, and finishing of steel elements, as well as typical landscape construction tasks as part of a crew.
This is not a welding-only position. You will be involved in all aspects of site construction, so someone with a varied skill set will be highly desired.
One can expect to work with varied materials like earth, stone, steel, wood, and concrete. Safe utilization of power tools and machinery like skidsteers and mini-excavators are desired. The candidate must work as part of a team as well as independently and take direction from others without issue.

Work hours are Monday - Friday 8-5 with some overtime possible.
Candidates must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record. You must have reliable transportation to and from the shop every day.
Applicants are subject to background checks as well as drug tests.
Candidates must be able to lift 80lbs+ safely and repeatedly.
You must have a good sense of layout, fitting, fabrication math & formulas, assembly, and an eye for details.
Pay will be commensurate with experience as it relates to fabrication, welding, site construction, landscape construction and its allied trades and crafts.
Typically - shop based projects are limited during our fieldwork / landscape site construction season - so candidates should expect and be prepared to work in the field throughout varied conditions and elements.
Please understand that this position is for welding 50% of the time and site construction 50% of the time. Tasks will be continually varied and change from day to day. A positive and can-do attitude is required and one must appreciate being tested and up for the challenge. You must be willing to learn, teach, improvise, adapt, and create.
