Holland America-Princess Alaska Yukon, located in Anchorage is looking for a new team member. This person will assist in maintaining the Anchorage Motorcoach facility for the summer season.
We are looking for someone with some experience in positions involving building maintenance and parts expediting.
Job Duties: Support maintenance staff with building and vehicle maintenance operations, primarily as an expeditor, and mechanic helper. Assist with keeping maintenance facilities clean and safe. Assist drivers with basic maintenance problems. Assists with fueling, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and building maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Pass pre-employment DOT drug test (will be subject to random drug testing on an ongoing basis).
Fork Lift Certified (preferred, not necessary).
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Carpentry and computer skills are a plus.
Strong customer service skills.
Current valid state driver’s license, with clean driving record.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and be open to changing priorities.
Ability to organize maintenance shop and supply rooms efficiently and effectively.
Ability to keep safety in mind while performing daily work and strive to always work safely.
Ability to work in a team or group environment.
Physical Requirements
Be able to lift 75 pounds.
Bending, reaching and squatting throughout the shift while loading and moving products.
Must be able to work outdoors in winter environments.
