Hultquist Homes is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Operator to run one of our excavation crews.
We have been building large homes on some of the nicest lots in Anchorage for over 40 years.
The lead operator will be responsible for the efficient execution of the Earth Work portion of the construction process which requires excellent situational awareness, a working knowledge of residential excavation and a very strong work ethic.
The Lead Operator will report to the Excavation Superintendent and must be willing to communicate both to the Superintendent and to their Crew Members.
We are willing to work with the right person to develop their current skill set, however, applicants must have a good understanding of excavation practices, and construction machinery.
Requirements:
Background in Residential or Civil Excavation
Willingness to learn
2-3 years operating Heavy Machinery (More preferred)
Punctual
Transportation to our South Anchorage shop
Valid Drivers License
Class A CDL: Plus
Experience as a crew lead: Plus
Residential Excavation Experience: Plus
Septic Install Experience: Plus
Mechanical Background: Plus
Pay is DOE: $30-40+ per Hour
