360 Construction & Design is looking for a motivated, positive and experienced Lead Carpenter / Carpenter to join our award-winning team. We provide Kitchen and Bath Remodels, Additions and Custom Home Construction with a focus on Craftsmanship, Quality and Customer Service.
We expect our Carpenters & Lead Carpenters to have experience in most of the following:
- Kitchen & Bath Remodels.
- Finish Carpentry - From trim work to cabinet installations.
- Rough Carpentry – Framing, from simple modifications to structural requirements.
- Drywall / Texture Matching-Blending
- Finishes – Painting / Staining and Finishes from walls to doors and trim.
- Hard Finishes – Installations of Tile / Luxury Plank Flooring / Engineered Hardwood.
- Have the necessary tools required of your profession.
In addition, the Lead Carpenter will have experience with the following:
- Read & Apply - Interior design drawings/selections and architectural plans.
- Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
- Ability to coordinate and schedule all aspects of the project from start to permit close-out.
- Maintain electronic time keeping, daily logs, and cost code receipts to be submitted weekly.
- Manage client relationships.
- Be pleasant, courteous, and respectful to clients and their homes.
- Effective and prompt communication with the 360 Team and clients.
- Quickly and effectively problem solve with the ability to learn, teach, and ask questions.
Basic Requirements:
- Pass a drug screening and background check.
- Lift lumber, other building materials and equipment while navigating a job site.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed.
This is a full-time, permanent, and year-round. We work primarily in the Anchorage Bowl with projects in the MatSu Valley and Girdwood as well. Office is located in Anchorage.
Compensation: $30.00 – 40.00+ depending on experience. Includes 1 week of PTO to start, 7 Paid holidays, health, dental and vision insurance, vehicle and mobile phone allowances.
