Part time charter deck hand position needed for multiday live aboard boat.
Minimum dates required are July 8- August 20 with about 25 days - 5 live aboard trips.
Maximum dates are as soon as you can start through May getting ready and conducting 18 days of charters,
approximately 2 weeks of boat maintenance in June, then 25 days of charters between July 8th and August 20th.
Would be 60 or more days of work.
Duties are many including but not limited to filleting fish, cooking and cleaning, baiting hooks, making halibut rigs/tying knots, gaffing fish, assisting clients with all aspects of fishing, boarding and disembarking, cleaning the boat- cleaning the boat and potentially minor mechanical repairs.
Efficiency in all is not required, but some experience fishing cooking is. The cooking is basic stuff, not gourmet. Fish filleting will be halibut, salmon and rock fish mostly.
Passing a drug test, including for marijuana is mandatory.
Wages are daily $125-$200 per day plus tips and housing.
