Aircraft mechanic position available!
THE JOB: Positive work environment at an aircraft maintenance facility that takes pride in aircraft safety and compliance. We Perform 100hr inspections, aircraft repair, maintenance and modifications to small GA aircraft.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, Airframe and Power Plant License. Demonstrate basic mechanical knowledge of General Aviation. A valid Alaska Drivers License with a good driving record required. Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Responsible, under supervision of and/or as trained and qualified to perform repairs and maintenance on assigned aircraft. Remove/disassemble parts as required; assemble and install replacement parts and components as needed. Assist in troubleshooting of maintenance issues involving aircraft structures, systems and engines. Perform modifications per FAA requirements and organizational standards. Complete all necessary maintenance records and paperwork as required. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings to perform required maintenance tasks.
