Front Desk Receptionist/Tech Customer Service

We are a progressive small, well established internet service provider needing to add someone with administrative and sales experience to our growing team! Must be comfortable working in a close-knit office environment, have reliable transportation and exceptional customer service.

Benefits:

$19/hr to start DOE

11 paid holidays per year

Generous accured PTO, usable after 90-day probation period

Free home Internet connection (if location can be serviced)

This position is Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm, with a 1 hour lunch break. Possiblity of 9am - 6pm for the right fit.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

- Answering multi-line phone and routing support tickets to the appropriate department, greet walk-in customers

- Scheduling installs/service visits for field technicians

- Accounts receivable, check deposits

- Some sales with service inquiry calls

- Upkeep of filing, tidying up the office, etc.

- Other duties as needed

- This position can have some slow days in the month, would be perfect for a college student who can take advantage of down time by doing homework!

Job Requirements:

- High school graduate/G.E.D.

- Six months to 1-year minimum office experience required

- Computer proficiency - basic knowledge of e-mail, MS Word and Excel

- Basic accounting experience preferred

- QuickBooks Online experience preferred, but willing to train right fit

- Sales experience preferred

- Tech support skills not necessary but a plus, must be willing to learn some basic tech support applicable to our systems

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent customer service - over the phone and in-person

- Can keep calm, cool and collected under pressure (i.e. dealing with upset customer)

- Ability to follow instructions, speak up and ask questions if help is needed

- Ability to work independently and as a team

- Positive outlook, go-to attitude, ability to multitask and think on your feet

- Must have valid driver license with own reliable insured vehicle

- Must love dogs - We do have some part-time office pups who love treats and loves throughout the day when they show up ;-)
