We will be having open auditions for the position of Front Desk / Receptionist Thursday, June 12 from 11 AM to 2 PM, Friday, June 13 from Noon until 3PM, Sat, June 14 from 10AM to 2PM, and Sunday June 15 from 2PM to 5PM. This is your chance to win this position!
We want people who really want the position and are willing to take the initiative necessary to come in and explain to us why we want you! Just come into the salon any time during the hours mentioned, tell the front desk that you are there to audition, and we will come out to talk to you right then. No appointment is necessary, just come in during the hours mentioned above.
We need articulate, hardworking, and intelligent people. We are not so concerned about age or experience; we are concerned about people who look and sound as if they can do the job, and who generally impress us with their abilities
We sell beauty, so looks are important. You are the first thing people see when they come inside the salon, so the first impressions that you make matter. Much of the job is taking phone reservations, so speaking well on the phone is important. The Front Desk position answers the phone, operates the reservation computer, greets the customers and puts them together with their stylist, so the ability to think on your feet is critical. The Front desk person also maintains the beauty and cleanliness of the salon.
