Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, experience with our POS Toast and the ability to thrive in a bustling environment. As a Server/Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining efficiency and professionalism in both the dining and bar areas.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders, including recommendations from our seafood and beer menu
Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction
Handle a large section with lots of large parties, 5-10 tables that seat 6+ people in a open seating dining room
Knowledgeably describe menu items, including our seafood offerings and beer selections
Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, and other beverages with skill and efficiency
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar and dining areas, including restocking supplies as needed
Collaborate with kitchen, bar staff and management to ensure smooth operations and timely service
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a server and bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or similar environment
Knowledge of seafood and beer preferred, with a willingness to learn and expand knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Experience with the POS Toast
Positive attitude and team player mentality
TAPS Certified
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
