Responsibilities:

Prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans

Inspect construction sites for SWPPP compliance and provide reports

Conduct Environmental Site Assessments and reporting

Assist with groundwater investigations

Conduct hydrocarbon contamination remediation

Conduct groundwater monitoring including evaluation of results

Requirements:

This position is an opportunity for someone who is detailed oriented and resourceful. This job requires familiarity with ESRI products. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and who can work with minimal supervision. Must be committed to monitoring your own performance.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science is required as a minimum.

Report writing skills.

CESCL certification (preferred).

HAZWOPER certification (preferred).

Position Requires Full Time.

Residency in Alaska

Compensation and Benefits:

Earn up to $45,000 per year in a progressive environmental consulting firm, depending on experience.
