The Odom Corporation is currently hiring for a Sales Coordinator in our Wine and Spirits division.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for efficient, accurate, and timely support for the sales department through evaluation of data from multiple reporting and tracking tools. Areas of focus include - volume and distribution goal establishment and achievement monitoring, incentive tracking and reporting, new product information.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides administrative support to assigned silo manager as directed
-Supplier Reporting new distribution, mid-month sales, etc.
-Sales Tracking and reporting
- Incentive tracking and reporting
-Goal Tracking and reporting
-New product intro
-Prepare sell sheets for staff
-Track distribution goals and achievement
-Research discrepancies and corrects errors
-Maintains assigned chain pricing for all areas
-Updates customer price file monthly
-New Products
-Updated Pricing
-Obtains appropriate approval for pricing to chain
-Prepares and ensures accurate upload of quoted pricing into the core system
-Communicates pricing to customer
-Customer Price Book
-Website maintenance
-Orders and maintains office supplies.
-Operates office machines such as a computer, typewriter, calculator, and duplicating machines.
-Compiles data, inputs and maintains departmental spreadsheets. Copies data and compiles records for internal reports.
-Serves as a backup to other administrative areas as necessary
Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)preferred; related experience or training in customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Beverage distribution support experience is a plus.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Knowledge of Margin Minder, SQL, and Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Experience with travel and meeting/event planning. Ability to negotiate hotel/meeting contracts, coordinate travel/meeting attendance for large groups (up to 75 people), set up, and staff meetings.
-Must be able to analyze data and compile statistical information for use in presentations and to monitor/highlight trends affecting day-to-day operations.
-Must be detail-oriented, with problem-solving ability, and strong organization skills.
-Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
