Office Assistant: To act as office assistant for multiple departments & execute accurate payroll duties. - Assist with the advertising & hiring process in applicant screening, while ensuring all hiring paperwork is completed on time, collect, sort and distribute communications in a timely manner, book travel for employees, coordinate with other departments, maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues, use computer software (including, but not limited to: Sage Contractor 100, Word, Excel, Adobe, e-mail), Perform receptionist duties, archive files as needed and provide updates to electronic data file storage.

Payroll duties expected, following training:

Perform all aspects of company payroll functions, from collection & data entry of time sheets to processing of weekly payrolls with multiple companies while ensuring compliance with agreements, wage determinations, and current federal and state laws, review payroll for accuracy and process corrections, compute and disburse garnishments and other withholding's, prepare and distribute weekly certified payroll reports and files, remit and report payroll taxes, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, reconciling to the general ledger, maintain all aspects of payroll records, including new hire setup and all changes, perform payroll year end procedures, including W-2s and ACA reporting, assist with audit preparation for year end, workers compensation and project audits and other accounting & Human Resources duties as assigned.

Must be very detail oriented with the skillfulness to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, be able to work independently and have strong administrative abilities. Must have proven capability to apply solid interpersonal skills for effective verbal, written, and listening communications.

Required Experience

Sage Contractor 100 experience preferred but not required Accounting for multiple entities Construction Accounting State & Federal Reporting

All workers hired must be in good health & be able lift 50lbs. They must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have a valid drivers license.
