Signal is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Anchorage Office. Our team is looking for a hard-working, flexible, professional, and easy-going Office Assistant. If you think this is you, click the link below to apply!
Schedule: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday
Compensation: Depending on experience $16-$18 per hour
Benefits:

- Paid time off: PTO accrual will begin 90 days from hire date, however, PTO hours can not be used prior to the employee’s 1 year anniversary with the company.
Responsibilities:
- Organize Office and assist Management and Executives in ways that optimize procedures
- Assist with the hiring process in applicant screening, conducting interviews and orientations while ensuring all hiring paperwork is completed on time
- Ensure compliance with state licensing process of all security officers
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments as required
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Monitor the level of uniforms, supplies, and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Provide customer service support to clients on general questions, operations software support, invoicing, and collections by communicating in a helpful manner via phone and/or email.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Using “back-office” computer systems (Edge)
- Perform receptionist duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Experience as an Office Assistant or in another relevant Administrative role preferred
- Experience or proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Understanding of Office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Conducts self in accordance with Signal Core Values and by the Signal employee handbook
Environmental/Working Conditions: Normal Office environment. Occasional overtime may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.
