St. Mark Lutheran Church is seeking to hire an individual to act as our front office. Duties: Answer phones, distribute mail, interact with weekly visitors, prepare weekly documents both hard copies and digital for Sunday Service, compose and publish monthly newsletter, maintain records and out online presence, and assist clergy, church council, and members as required. Requisite skills:
Must be personable, hospitable, be of good humor; Proficient in Microsoft 365 - Word, Publisher, Powerpoint, Outlook/Gmail, Excel; Be comfortable updating and interfacing with web design and programs, basic IT skills a plus; Maintain standards for organization; Ability to work independently and confidently; Self-starter attitude; Knowledge of Christian tradition, the Bible, and Lutheran liturgy and music a plus.
This position is part-time, 16 to 20 hours. Hourly pay is dependent upon experience.
