Candidate should be punctual, friendly, personable, and able to interact with all clients telephonically and in person.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

Paper filing: Identify legal documents and how to file them in the client’s case file; and d. MyCase software: calendar deadlines, notify attorney of scheduling conflicts.

4. Experience in family law cases such as divorce, custody, adoption, and DV is a plus,

but not necessary. A quick reference instruction manual specific to this office is available. If hired, you will already know or be willing to learn the following skills: a. Trial preparation such as preparing exhibits, trial binders, etc. (Covered in the manual, and many of the supplies are currently prepared for you); b. Work directly with clients to obtain documents for Disclosures and Discovery; and c. MyCase software: Track your own billable time and basic office billing;

Pay depends on experience and will begin at $22 per hour. Flexible, paid time off and other benefits to be discussed as employment progresses, but health insurance will likely never be available.

There is a Golden Retriever in the office that you must interact with and walk around the park strip if necessary. There are other dogs in the building, but this is the only dog in the office.
