Storeroom Clerk
This position is responsible for ordering, receiving, storage and issuing of product and other related duties as assigned. Must work weekends and on the last day of each month. Hours based on hotel needs. Minimum of 24 hours.
Essential Functions include:
Coordinates with the Storeroom Manager regarding all assigned duties.
Orders product based on daily requisitions and stock par levels.
Receives product deliveries.
Verifies product quality, quantity, and price with vendor at the time of delivery.
Returns incorrect or poor-quality product, when necessary, at time of delivery.
Stores product, FIFO, rotating stock as necessary.
Maintains product quality standards and wastes product when necessary.
Completes daily outgoing requisitions, confirming accuracy, quality, and quantity.
Delivers product to various Hotel Departments.
Conducts monthly inventory, the last day of every month.
Maintains a clean and orderly storeroom in accordance with Food and Beverage Policies.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Enters incoming delivery invoices and outgoing requisitions into inventory software.
Other duties as directed by the Storeroom Manager and Director of Purchasing.
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be competent in Basic Computer skills, knowledge and use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Minimum Experience/Abilities:
Minimum 18 years of age.
English verbal and written communication skills.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with our Hotel Standards.
Prefer a candidate with food cooking/storage experience.
