Maintenance Position $25-$30 per hour

Pacific Building Services is seeking multiple maintenance technicians to join our team. PBS is responsible for maintenance in 40+ buildings across Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Our team serves a variety of needs from patching a wall, installing a door closer or replacing/converting light fixtures just to name a few. You will rarely do the same thing multiple days in a row. We also do small remodel jobs. The right person will be able to communicate effectively and proficiently manage email work orders - receive, execute work and respond to emailed work order in a timely manner. Background in maintenance and/or construction would be greatly appreciated. Our employees are very independent and capable of evaluating an issue, creating and executing a plan to fix the problem. We can train the right person. This is a full-time position with many opportunities for overtime. You will be responsible for being on call every other weekend for call out emergencies in our buildings. Reliable transportation and effective time management a must.
