Q-1 Services is a well-established and fast-growing commercial cleaning company that provides exceptional cleaning services in Anchorage, Alaska. We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and hardworking Crew Member to join our team.
No cleaning experience required - we will train
As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the floors in our client's commercial buildings. Your duties will include:
- Operating and maintaining floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
- Performing a variety of floor care tasks, such as stripping and waxing floors, scrubbing and buffing, and shampooing carpets.
- Removing dirt, stains, and other debris from floors and carpets.
- Assisting with routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing floors, walls, and surfaces, when covering for absent janitors.
- Communicating with supervisors to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory of supplies.
- Complying with all safety and health regulations and guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
- Ability to learn how to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Driver's License not required but preferred
