Title: Extraction Tech
Summary: Role Description As the Extraction Tech, you will be the mentee to the Extraction Manager. The immediate goal will be to learn the SOP on BHO and crude oil production. Our expectation is for you to become independently capable of operating BHO machines and be able to run extraction processes without the Extraction Manager on site. In addition to extraction production, you will be trained in various packaging formats in order to learn the full manufacturing process as well as perform process and team management documentation (daily production logs, etc.). You will report directly to the Extraction Manager.
Responsibilities: These lists are the core of your role but as with all team members, we must constantly shift and help where needed to ensure we win as a team.
BHO Extraction - learn and master the process to create crude oil as well as a variety of finished concentrate products to the point of independent operation.
Process and Manage Tracking Documentation - Manage state and lab tracking logs, documentation, spreadsheets.
Production Packager - Assist the team with processing and packaging of all products.
Job Duties:
- Prepare biomass for extraction
- Operate a closed loop hydrocarbon extraction machine
- Record data from each batch using excel spreadsheets
- Execute post production processes per SOP, depending on desired end product
- Clean and reset equipment for the next shift to operate
- Conduct preventative and regular maintenance on equipment (i.e. change pump oil, replace gaskets and seals as needed)
- Communicate with Extraction Manager about any concerns or issues
- Properly weigh and package bulk cannabis extractions
- Packaging Product (rolling joints, jarring concentrates, filling vape cartridges/pens, etc.)
- Labeling Product
- Order Fulfillment
- Stay informed on new cannabis products on the market
- Communicate with other team members
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Assist in all other general lab duties
