Get paid to become a licensed Aircraft Technician! We provide all the training you need to get an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic license. We will help you meet specific requirements, including hands on practical experience. You will get 18 months of practical experience in either airframes or powerplants, or 30 months in both. You will be actively working with and learning about a wide variety of certified and experimental aircraft while getting paid!
(Alternatively, you can graduate from an FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician school. These approved aviation schools will cost you 30k-50k with no guarantee of obtaining a license and very little practical experience.)
THE JOB: Positive work environment at an aircraft maintenance facility that takes pride in aircraft safety and compliance. We Perform Annual/100hr inspections, aircraft repair, maintenance and modifications to small GA aircraft.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, Reliable transportation. A valid Alaska Drivers License. Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Responsible, under supervision of and/or as trained and qualified to perform repairs and maintenance on assigned aircraft. Remove/disassemble parts as required; assemble and install replacement parts and components as needed. Assist in troubleshooting of maintenance issues involving aircraft structures, systems and engines. Perform modifications per FAA requirements and organizational standards. Complete all necessary maintenance records and paperwork as required. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings to perform required maintenance tasks.
