We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Swing Manager / Administrative Designee to join our team at an assisted living group home for adult males with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Swing Manager serves as the Administrative Designee during assigned shifts, overseeing the overall operation of the home in the absence of the Administrator or Program Manager. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality care, staff supervision, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a heart for service and experience in residential care settings.

Duties
=
Serve as the Administrative Designee during swing shifts, assuming responsibility for the safety, well-being, and supervision of all residents and staff.
Oversee the daily operation of the group home, including resident care, staff performance, and household management.
Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, medication administration (as trained), and social engagement.
Ensure adherence to individualized service plans (ISPs), behavior support strategies, and care protocols.
Supervise, mentor, and provide on-the-spot training to direct support staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including incident reports, shift notes, medication logs, and care records.
Act as a point of contact for emergencies, making appropriate decisions and notifying on-call leadership as needed.
Assist with scheduling and coverage coordination to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Monitor the physical environment of the home to ensure safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
Uphold all agency, state, and licensing requirements related to resident care and group home operations.

Skills & Requirements
=
Must meet qualifications to serve as an Administrative Designee under state or agency regulations (experience, training, or certification as required).
Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting is strongly preferred.
Leadership experience and the ability to effectively supervise and support direct care staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
Knowledge of person-centered care principles, behavior support techniques, and residential care best practices.
Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
CPR/First Aid certification and Medication Administration Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
