We are currently looking to hire two Direct Service Providers for Extra Support, Weekend Relief, and Live-in positions for our home. Some flexibility in shift schedules is available. These positions will be working with individuals in the home as well as out in the community. Must be able to or can learn to manage multiple schedules, keep a clean house, meal preparation and cooking, and maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Documentation of services is required for all positions so rudimentary knowledge of computers is preferred. Training in the use of the data collection program we use (Therap) will be provided.
Requirements for this position:
· Must be 21+ years old
· AK Driver’s License with dependable transportation, and insurance
· Clean DMV driving record
· Pass background check (Company pays for)
· High School Diploma
· CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to be certified within 30 days/hire. Company will pay for)
· Current TB test (Company pays for)
· Must be able to act as a positive role model and maintain appropriate boundaries
· Must be dependable and punctual
· Fluent in the English language
· Basic housekeeping and meal preparation experience (or willing to learn)
