Confer with patients and learn their medical history and what problems they may have with stress and or pain.
Gage the condition of the patient’s soft tissues, the joint function and quality, range of motion, and muscle strength.
Follow and relay the treatment plan as outlined by the referring provider.
Educate patients on how to improve their posture and teach them strengthening, stretching, and rehabilitative exercises as well as relaxation techniques.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Minimum 1 year medical setting as a licensed massage therapist
High school diploma or GED
Current State of Alaska Massage Therapist license
