Snow City Café is searching for our new Executive Chef!

We're a popular downtown brunch spot where the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and breakfast is served all day. We care about good food, our community, the environment, and making people happy. Plus, Snow City Cafe is open daily from 7am-3pm, this could be a dream job for the right person!The ideal candidate for this position is passionate, organized, efficient, level-headed and most of all an experienced leader who can inspire, train and mentor our team and foster a fun and productive work environment.DutiesLead the kitchen in accordance with the goals, objectives, and culture set forth by the company. Be a source of positive motivation and support, solid decision making, and accountability for the kitchen team.Research and develop dishes that are unique and exciting while ensuring that the menu is well-engineered to meet food cost and service expectations at high volume.Train and develop Supervisors and Sous Chefs in managing the crew and operation.Ensure that kitchen facility and equipment are clean and organized and excellent health inspection scores are received.Maintain good relationships with vendors for mutual satisfaction and to negotiate pricing and minimize outages.Experience/Abilities5 years kitchen management experience minimum, previous executive chef experience preferredBasic computer skills necessary to operate food costing software, build schedules, maintain digital logs, and e-mailServSafe (required)Inventory management experienceCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary determined on experience and abilityHealth, vision and dental insurance benefitsHolidays and accrued time off with pay401(k)Monthly dining allowance that can be used at Snow City Café and our sister restaurantsApply in person with your resume at 1034 W 4th AveORApply Online HereSnow City Café is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
