We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand as needed.
Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized and stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including dish racks, sinks, and floors.
Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed.
Follow proper sanitation procedures and health regulations at all times.
Dispose of waste and recycling in designated containers.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Report any maintenance or repair issues to management promptly.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
