We are looking to hire a DMO (dish machine operator) at the Kaladi commissary kitchen.

This position would have several responsibilities including:
-Collecting dirty dishes from the kitchen
-Washing and sanitizing used dishes
-Organizing and storing clean dishes
-Navigate kitchen safely while staff is producing food
-Maintaining clean environs in the dish machine area (cleaning floors, machine, racks, sinks, drains, etcetera)
-Washing and drying linens using on-site wash and dry machines
-Minor maintenance of machine (changing out detergents, chemicals, de-liming, etcetera)
-Reporting any issues with machine functions, plumbing, chemical shortages
-Dishwashers may be occasionally asked to assist with other tasks like closing down the building or unloading freight)
Physical requisites include the ability to stand or walk for 6 to 8 hours a day, lift up to 50 pounds to hip level, lift up to 25 pounds over head, bend, stoop, crouch, and twist comfortably and multiple times in a day.
Starting wages offered will be $16/hour with ability to negotiate based on previous experience in this type of work(D.O.E.).
Applicant must have a valid Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card.
