Job Description: Evening Host at Fletcher's, Hotel Captain Cook
Position Overview: Fletcher's, our casual dining restaurant at Hotel Captain Cook known for Italian and American cuisine in a pub setting, is seeking an Evening Host. This role is essential in providing a warm welcome and organized experience for our guests. The position involves evening shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Greeting: Warmly greet guests upon arrival, offering a friendly and positive first impression.
To-Go Orders: Efficiently handle and assemble to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
Menu Distribution: Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials and restaurant features.
Wait List and Special Reservations: Manage a wait list effectively and handle special reservation requests, ensuring a smooth seating process.
General Assistance: Support restaurant staff as needed, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
Restaurant Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant, fostering a pleasant atmosphere.
Side Work: Assist with various side tasks as required for the efficient operation of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A friendly, customer-oriented demeanor.
Availability for evening shifts from 4 PM to 12 AM.
Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
Adherence to appearance standards: no visible facial piercings or tattoos.
