We are not offering a fully remote work option at this time.Responsibilities
Help develop a strategic recruiting plan for assigned contracts and locations for the NANA family of companies under NANA North.
Work with managers to assess workforce needs for each business unit or division assigned.
Work to increase and support Shareholder hire.
Partner with Hiring Managers to develop marketing and advertising strategies to attract potential candidates.
Maintain a current job description library for assigned client group.
Post and maintain job requisitions for assigned client group, managing communication with associated applicants.
Identify and source candidates via job boards, internal database, social media, referrals, networking events, career fairs, college campuses, niche sites, etc.
Phone screen and conduct in-house interviews in detail about candidate’s background, skills, and experience relative to the position.
High volume direct contact recruiting to passive candidates identified via social media, job boards, resume databases and via a variety of referral sources.
Recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers, facilitate interviews, execute job offers, and initiate onboarding.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties that are pertinent to the department or NANA’s success also may be assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, education or a related field, additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Two (2) years recruiting, staffing or agency experience, preferably in the service industry.
Must have experience filling non-exempt and exempt level positions.
One (1) year of that experience must be recruiting and sourcing in a high-volume environment.
Must have at least one (1) year working in an applicant tracking system (ATS). iCIMS experience preferred.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time for career fairs and other recruiting events, including travel to the NANA region.
Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. (Candidates will be tested on competency level).
Knowledge of HR personnel practices and principles.
Working knowledge of all federal, state, and local labor laws.
Proven track record of implementing innovative strategies that efficiently deliver quality candidates.
Excellent planning, time management, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates.
Good oral and written communication skills.
A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NANA’s vehicle insurance policy.

Employee may travel throughout Alaska and/or to remote locations and may be required to use alternative modes of transportation, including but not limited to snow machines, boats, small airplanes, and ATVs.
