Position: After-School Program Staff (Part-time)
Location: Anchorage, AK
Hours: Weekdays, approximately 2:00/2:30 PM–6:00 PM (hours vary by site)
Pay: $18 & higher

Champ Martial Arts provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging after-school environment where children K–8 can learn , play, and grow. We partner with local schools and families to deliver homework help, enrichment activities, and social-emotional support.
Position Summary
We are seeking energetic, reliable, and compassionate After-School Program Staff to join our team. Staff will supervise students, lead small- and large-group activities, support homework time, and help create a positive after-school experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students (K–8) during after-school hours, ensuring safety and positive behavior
- Lead and assist with homework support, arts & crafts, games, STEM activities, and outdoor play
- Build rapport with students and maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Support attendance, pick-up/dismissal procedures, and parent/guardian communication as directed
- Follow program rules, safety protocols, and reporting procedures
- Collaborate with site coordinators and other staff
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+ (or local minimum working age)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children preferred; enthusiastic applicants without experience will be considered—training provided
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, patient, and energetic
- Ability to pass background check; CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
