Summary of Position:

This seasonal position (April-October) is responsible for ensuring our guests' satisfaction by providing prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service. Your key role will be checking in and out tour reservations, assign all tour rooms, coordinate with housekeeping the arrival time, work closely with tour directors/Princess Representatives for special requests or room requirements. You will be labeling and making keys for incoming tour arrivals and providing the bellmen with arrival lists and update them of any changes. As a vital member of our team, you will ensure our hotel remains a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

o Assist with group check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth operations during peak times

o Assign all tour rooms

o Coordinate with housekeeping the arrival time

o Work closely with tour directors or princess representatives for special requests or room requirements

o Check in and check out tour reservations.

o Label and make keys for incoming tour arrivals

o Provide the bellmen with the arrival list and update them of any changes

o Ensure the Tour Desk area is tidy, organized, and well stocked with promotional materials

o Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager

Minimum Education

o High School diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum Experience

o Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel or guest service environment

Skills/Abilities

o Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and reasoning

o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

o Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

o Ability to learn computer systems and programs quickly and efficiently

o Excellent stress management skills and ability to interact effectively with the public

o Must be bondable and capable of handling transactions

o Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written

o Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet management and guest needs

o Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, catering to a diverse guest population

o Maintain a clean and professional appearance
