This position is responsible for the initial greeting of guests as they enter the Hotel from 4th Avenue.
Essential Functions:
Maintain required post at all times
Initially greet guests following Preferred standards
Coordinate with Bell staff for guest assistance and requests
Maintain cleanliness of and control traffic in circular driveway
Coordinate taxi cabs, shuttles, valet parking and other transportation requests
Assist guests with event locations and directions
Must possess valid Alaska driver's license
Other duties as assigned by Bell Captain, Concierge or Front Desk Manager
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as a strong command of the English language required (foreign language an advantage). Must have a willingness to serve, a polite attitude and a professional appearance. Must be able to operate a moving vehicle.
This is a full-time, Union position. The shifts we are looking to fill are 3PM-12AM, days of are Sun & Mon
