Opening: Customer Service Rep
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $18 - $20

Opti Staffing Group is partnering with an online grocery store based in Anchorage, AK. This company specializes in shipping groceries to rural Alaskan regions, ensuring that even remote communities have access to fresh and essential products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Process orders received by mail, telephone, fax, email, or in person from customers or company employees.
Key orders using the online website and advise customers on available discounts.
Edit or revise orders per customer requests, including adding or subtracting items, applying discounts, and calculating prepaid air freight fees.
Prepare incoming carts of goods for shipment to specific customers, including verifying items, collecting payment information, and advising customers on shipping methods.
Break down and inventory pallets of merchandise.
Prepare order paperwork for packing and shipping, including completing shipping forms and labeling.
Fill orders in the warehouse accurately and handle leftover items.
Retrieve receipts for merchandise returns.
Send notification emails to customers regarding order shipment.
Handle inbound or outbound calls, addressing customer concerns and inquiries.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
1-3 months of related experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively with customers.
Familiarity with product lines and customer base.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
