What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Business Loan Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping small business owners navigate the loan process, access funding, and succeed in their ventures. You’ll build strong relationships with entrepreneurs, guide them through critical steps, and make a tangible impact on their ability to bring their ideas to scale.
-Be the First Point of Contact: Handle loan inquiries and guide potential clients through the application process, offering valuable insights, important information, and support.
-Help Small Businesses Grow: Collaborate with loan officers to ensure loan applicants meet CILC’s eligibility guidelines and are ready to take their business to the next level.
-Support Across the Board: Assist with loan documentation and portfolio management, ensuring a seamless experience for borrowers.
-Networking & Relationship Building: Provide outreach to CILC’s strategic partners, other lenders and collaborators. And conduct educational workshops to potential loan applicants.
-Provide Outstanding Customer Service: Track applications, monitor the status of loans, and communicate with business owners to ensure timely submissions and ongoing support.
-Innovate: Contribute to the growth and development of CILC’s Small Business Lending Program by bringing fresh ideas and energy to the team. Our best ideas come from our collaborative practices.

The Basics:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or related field. Experience in small business lending, real estate, accounting, banking, or financial planning may be substituted on a 1:1 basis.
Experience: 2+ years in small business lending, community development or a related field.
Location: This position is based in Anchorage, AK. Flex scheduling and/or hybrid options may be available.
