We are a fast-paced, established aircraft parts and maintenance facility at Lake Hood looking for a responsible, hardworking individual to fill an open position in our parts department.
We will train the right person extensively but here are the general qualification preferences:
Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, energetic and able to multi-task. Candidate must also have excellent communication, computer and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and use of aircraft parts catalogs preferred. Prior parts department and or sales experience preferred. A&P experience a definite plus.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Answering a multi-line telephone
-Selling parts to customers over the counter and on the phone
-Processing sales transactions to include credit card and cash payments
-Helping mechanics and customers lookup and locate aircraft parts
-Aircraft parts inventory handling and control
-Inventory counts and tracking
-Freight acceptance and shipment preparation
-Parts delivery and pickup (good driving record required)
-Keeping the department clean and organized
Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM. Pre-employment drug test required. 90-day probationary period. Starting wage $18-$30/hr DOE. Part-time possible for the right person.
