Position Summary: The Revenue Cycle Director is a key leader in the organization who works collaboratively with other leaders on revenue cycle performance to meet strategic goals and develop guidelines, policies, and procedures through use of data analysis to optimize performance of the healthcare revenue cycle. The Director will support and participate with leadership in facilitating processes, systems and procedures to ensure compliance, and respond to changes in the healthcare environment that impact revenues. This leader is passionate about the mechanics of successful payer collections and seeks innovative solutions to optimize performance and increase efficiencies.Work Experience: Five to seven years of management experience in revenue cycle operations, with the ability to be strategic while remaining attentive to detail. Experience may be substituted for education on a year to year basis.Education, Certification and Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in business related field required. Certified coder, Master’s Degree in health administration or related field preferred.Additional Skills and Knowledge:Experience working with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)Experience with Alaska Medicaid ProgramDemonstrated financial management skills, including the ability to financially analyze data for operations, budgeting, auditing, forecasting; basic accounting knowledge; AR and reserve analysis, market analysis; staffing and financial reporting skillsDemonstrated data driven experience in developing and using key performance indicators to drive business operations and identify issues requiring management attentionDemonstrate an in-depth knowledge of private and governmental insurance eligibility and verification, charge capture, CPT maintenance, coding, billing and collections, payment posting and self-payStrong knowledge of clinical practice and revenue cycle management including third party reimbursement guidelines and procedures.Hands-on, proactive leadership style, including revenue cycle operations and planning and execution as well as formulating policy, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.Benefits Offered: Competitive Salary, Retirement Plan, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Group Voluntary Insurances, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Employee Assistance / Discount ProgramsTo apply online please visit: https://www.anhc.org/careers
