The Accounts Payable /Payroll Accounting specialists performs accounting and tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable and payroll transactions. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST FOR THIS POSITION; payroll experience is a plus, but will train.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Review payables invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and enter into system for payment
Sort and match invoices and check requests.
Prepare and process accounts payable checks and credit card transactions.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Reconcile statements
Assist forwarders with questions regarding payables
Assist Accounting Supervisor with other duties as assigned.
Process weekly payroll for up to 170 employees.
