Job Summary:
The Shift Supervisor at Chick-fil-A is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the Team Leaders and front-line staff. This role involves problem-solving, managing financial procedures, and maintaining a positive work environment. The Shift Supervisor is expected to uphold Chick-fil-A’s core values, lead with integrity, and create a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise, mentor, and support Team Leaders and frontline employees.
Ensure proper staffing levels and efficient deployment of team members.
Coach and develop employees to enhance their skills and performance.
Lead by example in professionalism, attitude, and work ethic.
Customer Service & Problem-Solving
Ensure every guest has a remarkable Chick-fil-A experience.
Quickly assess customer needs and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Step in during high-volume periods to assist with front-of-house operations.
Address and resolve operational challenges, ensuring smooth service
Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A brand standards and operational procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
Work alongside the leadership team to meet business goals and objectives.
Adapt to changing circumstances and execute shift adjustments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
Strong ability to problem-solve and handle high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of cash management and financial accountability.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.
