Entry-Level Process EngineerJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for optimizing the production systems, improving the process, and increasing productivity while lowering scrap rates. You will launch new programs, run samples, service orders, and improve chemical variance.
Develop formulations and pour patterns to meet production specifications
Optimize chemical usage and minimize waste
Sampling new programs
Liaison with maintenance to solve/optimize process equipment issues.
Liaison with production and tooling to address RFT concerns
Plan and execute process improvement experiments
Responsible for the daily process operations
Interface with customers, suppliers and other plants in respect to process related quality concerns
Occasion travel
Occasion chemical unloading responsibilities
Other duties as required
Knowledge of Key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed KPI targets
Understand lean and implement 5 S and kaizens within department
Ensure good communication across shifts, departments
Participate in problem solving, VSM, Kaizen projects
Audit for standard work, quality, understanding HSE
Hard Skills
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Prior internship experience within automotive manufacturing
Candidates with 1+ years of experience are preferred
