We want you Come be a part of a company that has benefits like tuition reimbursement, health benefits and annual cost of living increases!This opportunity is located in Lawrenceburg TN.The Materials Planner will process orders from customers, place orders with vendors and coordinate the logistics for delivery of orders.Materials Planner responsibilities:Monitor customer portals daily as necessary (including weekends as necessary)Communicate with customers via phone or email as necessaryAssist the Shipping Department as necessary in completing shipmentsAssist the Materials Department in completing cycle countsCreate, verify, and edit spreadsheets, data tables and reports as neededCommunicate all deviations to shipping schedule to all internal and external parties.Monitor customer packaging levels and help get resolution whenever they are low.Work with Shipping to ensure the correct parts are being shipped daily and according to the customer requirements.Coordinate other vendors who may be involved in completing orders such as independent machine shops so deliveries are on time.Set up and track all instances of outbound freight. Report instances to internal Attend Engineering Change Meetings and help establish firm run out/change over dates with customers and production.Other duties as assigned.Materials Planner requirements:5+ Years of Customer Service in a fast-paced office environment.Spanish Bilingual preferred but not requiredHigh School Diploma or GEDProficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelStrong Communication and Time Management SkillsStrong ability to build a working rapport and professional relationship with othersExperience in the Automotive manufacturing industry highly preferred but not requiredThis position is 6am-3pm however overtime may be necessary occasionally.
