salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 1 AMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe Tool and Die Maintenance Associate will be responsible for working under minimal supervision, laying out, constructing and repairing shop tools, gauges, fixtures, jigs and dies per blueprints, drawings and /or verbal instructions for use within the plant. Performs and ensures proper lock out procedures (use of ram block) is performed at all times by authorized associates when equipment repairs are performed including cleaning. Builds new dies and tooling from drawings and /or specifications by laying out, setting up, machining, fitting and finishing metal stock and castings. Repairs dies and tools used in production as needed. Testing repaired dies for proper operation, operating press as required and running test parts. Has a good basic knowledge of various materials, heat treating and basic welding. Operates a variety of machine tools to cut, mill or grind. Verifies conformance of completed dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, alignments and finish. Tool and Die Maintenance will also perform maintenance on presses.The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 10 hours at one time
