Duties and Responsibilities: Interprets and analyzes general design provided by engineers Prepares detailed design for engineer’s approval Assumes responsibility for technical accuracy and constructability of finished designs Communicates and works closely with all disciplinesEducation and/or Experience: Technology training in drafting and design from an accredited school (Associate’s degree preferred) Between 3-5 years of design experience (Industries such as chemical, wood products, oil & gas, and pulp & paper are a plus) Minimum of 5 years experience utilizing AutoCAD Ability to utilize 3D modeling software (CADWorx Plant and Equipment preferred) Experience with a consulting engineering firm preferred Proficient in the use of MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word Ability to delegate and manage time/resources efficientlySkills and Abilities: Self-starter Team player Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and presentation skills Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment Capable and willing to expand/grow experience with and apply new technologiesPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
