Responsible for developing application and integrations using the Microsoft SQL server platform and providing technical/production support. This will include business intelligence/data analysis, reporting, capturing requirements, testing, monitoring and implementing solutions via structured software development life cycle. This includes but is not limited to: Provides Analytics support to Health Systems and Analytics Division. Develops normalized databases. Designs and develops reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Designs and develops ETL packages in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Must have data warehouse experience following Kimball’s Methodology. Actively participate in meetings with project managers, team leads, analysts and other Agency staff as needed. Assists in mentoring and training business analysts. Participates in SQL code reviews and skilled to write and deploy SQL patches. Assists with schema design, code review and SQL query tuning. Assists with application schema upgrades and improvement, and data upgrades. Develops stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views using SQL. Creates scripts to build new database objects.Intermediate professional level role. SSIS 2016 and higher SSRS SQL server management studio, MS office, good communication skills, ability to work on one or more projects at a time sometimes as a team member or sometimes as a project leader.
