Beacon Children's Hospitalhas an immediate opening for a Dietary Aide/Cook. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illnesses.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes

- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner

- Monitor food quality and presentation

- Collaborate with dietary aides to ensure efficient meal service

- Assist with menu planning and recipe development

- Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment

- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or culinary setting

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
